This year marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic film adaptation of Amos Oz’s novel “My Michael”. Located in 1950s Jerusalem, the story follows Hanna Gonen, a lonely and melancholic woman trapped in an unfulfilling marriage. Her isolation and inner turmoil drive her into a world of nightmares and erotic hallucinations linked to two Arab boys from her childhood neighborhood.
