Marina Akishina – Russian avant-garde artist, theater director, organizer of street theater festivals, leaves for the wilderness of the Arkhangelsk region. There, she hardly creates art, but when the war in Ukraine erupts, this is a turning point for her: she starts to create anti-war paintings and poems every day, chronicling the events of the terrible war. She summons all the creative people of the past as witnesses to the horrors of the war.
Marina Akishina died in May 2024. All her paintings have disappeared.
