One of the architects interviewed in this film about Emilio Ambasz, considered the spiritual father of environmental architecture, says he’s trying to find a lost paradise. From the photographs of the magnificent buildings Ambasz designed, which are integrated into surrounding nature, he appears to be succeeding.

Ambasz is responsible for helping to redefine the relationship between nature and man, between greenery and structure, to ensure a better, greener world. The film moves from one of his awe-inspiring projects to the next, and presents testimonies from people who have had the privilege of living in his buildings and environments. Several of the world’s most famous architects explain why Ambasz has earned his distinguished place in the field of modern architecture.

The film is also fine cinema: It’s beautifully photographed, with a matching soundtrack, and edited so that the mesmerizing beauty of Ambasz’s projects is conveyed to viewers, and the natural environment in which his structures exist washes the entire screen in stunning green.
